COLLISION OFF NASH POINT
ONE MAN DROWNED
About half-past eight on Saturday night the screw steamer Oswin, belonging to Messrs Turnbull Bros., ran into the pilot cutter Lily & May off the Nash Point, and the latter immediately sank. The owner of the pilot, David Francis, together with one of the crew, scrambled on board the steamer, but the other member of the crew, a man named Lewis Francis (30) residing at Grangetown, was unfortunately drowned.
