Frederick Case, Plant Grower, Florist and Fruit Merchant, was born at Roadhurst in 1836, and was privately educated at Dunster. He was a son of Mr John Case, Dnster, and coming to Cardiff in 1852, commenced business as an importer of foreign fruits, embarking later on his present occupation.
He lived at the Firs, Rumney.
He had nurseries at Rumney, 113 Newport Road and Lisvane.
He traded from 35-37 Queen Street, 21 High Street, 3 St John Square, 40 Castle Arcade and 103 Cathays Terrace.
