Born and Educated in Cardiff. Son of John Nott and Ann Gillard of 33 Hamilton Street, Cardiff. Buried at Doiran Military Cemtery (3.D.25).

Memorial on grave G 406 at Cathays Cemetery.

Age 27. 11th Batt Welsh Regiment.

The attack in which he died involved the famous - punting of a rugby ball at the enemy lines by Captain Eynon - before the Pals went over the top.
