SS Mordenwood


SS Mordenwood, built by Ropner & Sons, Ltd., Stockton in 1910 and owned at the time of her loss by Joseph Constantine, Middlesbrough, was a British steamer of 3125 tons.

On May 19th, 1917, Mordenwood was sunk by the Austrian submarine K.U.K. U-29 (Leo Prásil), 90 miles SExS1/2S of Cape Matapan. 21 persons were lost.
