Tuesday June 21st Midsummer Walk 7pm Cathays Cemetery led by the Friends of Cathays Cemetery - Upper Cemetery
Sunday September 11th Open Doors 11:00-16:00 Open Doors event. The restored Cathays Cemetery Chapels will be opened to the public during this time.
Sunday October 23rd Heritage Walk 11 am - Cathays Cemetery led by Roger Swan
Tuesday November 8th Annual Lecture 7 pm Bill Mosley Memorial Lecture - { £5 Entry charge}

All Walks will start from the Chapels at the Fairoak Road Entrance, unless otherwise stated.

WEEKLY CEMETERY WALKS - RESUMING 7th SEPTEMBER 2021

The Friends organise a weekly walk around the Cemetery starting behind Cathays Library, top of Fairoak Road on Tuesday Mornings at 10.30am. The walks last approximately 1 hour.

These walks concentrate on the history, fauna & flora around the Cemetery.

Please do not park on the grass.

Each participant will need to provide Track and Trace information.

If you need refreshments during the walk, you should bring/carry your own.

Personal belongings should be limited to what you can carry on your person.

Walkers are advised to bring their own hand sanitiser and face coverings.

Do not attend if you or a member of your household has any Covid-19 symptoms.

Arrive on time to ensure that the Covid specific briefing does not need to be repeated.
